Montague Villages Services
Montague Villages Members over the age of 60 can request help with a variety of tasks by trained and vetted neighborhood volunteers.
All service requests must be made at least 5 Business days in advance.
Members, please call 413-672-3095 and leave a detailed message
Please submit requests well in advance whenever possible.
You will be contacted by a Call Manager by phone or e-mail (members preferred method of contact) to review all the details and confirm your request.

Montague Villages volunteers can assist with many typical needs, including:
TRANSPORTATION
appointments, medical and otherwise
visits with friends
social and cultural events
library, senior center, & shopping
HOUSEHOLD
easy fixes
dusting and light cleaning
easily accessible window washing/cleaning
minor home repairs & maintenance
minimal pet care & watering plants
taking trash to the curb, returning container
OUTDOOR
light gardening & yard work
light shoveling
minor fixes
SUPPORT
companion for walks/rides
call-in safely checks
post-hospital check-in
reading
respite care for caregivers - fill in for an hour or two while caregiver takes a break
meal prep (if no health aid service)
running errands, including getting groceries, picking up prescriptions, picking up mail, etc.
assist with referrals
assist with making phone calls
help arrange for services and appointments
assist with sorting medical bills
TECH SUPPORT
for electronic devices, phones, and simple computer problems
assist with video calls, ZOOM, etc.
Please note: Montague Villages does not provide:
- Medical services such as medical maintenance or medical transport assistance.
- Services to individuals who are bed-bound, frail, or not ambulatory.
- Home repairs and services that require a licensed professional.
